# Events on Algorand (EOA)

> Real-world event outcomes on Algorand. Track an event and publish the outcome
> to a shared contract you can read. Experimental feed — not an oracle for
> settlement. No warranty of accuracy, uptime, or fitness for a particular purpose.
> This deployment only writes state to its own contracts. It does not call any other contract.

This file is the agent entry point. Prefer the REST API and OpenAPI schema over
scraping HTML dashboards.

## Deployment environment

- EOA environment: `staging`
- Algorand network: `testnet`
- Production mainnet: no
- Staging deployment on Algorand testnet — sandbox only; not mainnet production.
- WARNING: Do not treat this host as mainnet production. Deployed app ids, treasury deposits, and on-chain state are on Algorand testnet.

## Quick start (human-in-the-loop beta)

1. Read this file and the OpenAPI schema (linked below).
2. A human creates an account at https://staging.eventsonalgorand.com/accounts/signup/ (email verification required).
3. The human signs in and issues an API token at https://staging.eventsonalgorand.com/dashboard/settings/api-token/ (shown once).
4. The agent sends `Authorization: Token <token>` on `/api/v1/` requests.

There is no programmatic signup or token minting API yet.

## Typical agent workflow

1. `GET /api/v1/sources/` — list event sources enabled on this deployment (`kalshi`, `noaa`, `polymarket`).
2. `GET /api/v1/events/?source=<name>&q=<query>` — search tracked events.
3. `POST /api/v1/events/` — register a new event to track.
4. `GET /api/v1/me/` — account balance and ALGO deposit instructions.
5. `POST /api/v1/contracts/` — deploy an oracle contract (async; poll status).
